WebMay 13, 2011 · CS 1.6 is limited to 100 fps, it's a limit of the HL 1 engine. Also your FPS in HL1 is dependent almost entirely on your CPU, not graphics card. And the issue isn't tearing, the issue is graphical choppiness which I assume is due to AMD's horrendous opengl drivers, because I've never had the problem with any other computer. Webdont really remember what i did exactly to fix but i did end up fixing it, since the main problem was only for counter strike 1.6 i disabled things like anti lag,radeon chill,turned v-sync off and i was always at 100 FPS. also i might've done a clean amd drivers/software install koppa1337 • 16 days ago
