Front sight should be sharply in focus the rear maybe slightly blurry and the target rather fuzzy if your target is clear you are focusing in the wrong place. Bullseye shooters always use plain black sights and align the sharp front sight on the fuzzy snowball/ bullseye to get very accurate results. http://glow-on.com/firearms.html
