I want to get the best bang for my buck in terms of cut quality, comfort, HP, reliablity, customer service, etc. I love my grasshopper and have heard great things about all of the mowers really, but especially the Gravely Pro-Turn 400 series.

WebJun 8, 2016 · For the money, I don't think you can beat this mower, it has the 3400 Hydro-gear transmission which is serviceable (it has oil filters and requires oil changes to keep contaminants contained). The suspension which is why I bought mine certainly smooths out the rough areas.
